Canceling an order:
If you would like to cancel your order, please inform us as soon as possible. As long as your products have not been made, you will receive the full refund.
Changing an order:
If you would like to change your specifications on the customization, you will be advised of the additional charges for the changes and can decide whether to proceed. If you cancel your order after Chijen Design has started production, you will forfeit half of the price of the items you have paid for. If your order has been completed, then no changes can be made and no refund will be issued.
Returns:
If the customized items you have received were not made to your specifications, or if the items were defective, you can return the items for up to 30 days from the date you received them and get a full refund. Your shipping cost will be added to your refund.
There is no return on any customized items that were made to your specifications and/or are not defective.
If you are not satisfied with your imported bag purchase, you can return them as long as they are in the same condition you received them in. However, there will be 15% restocking fee deducted from your refund. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs.
All returns must be unused and in the same condition that you received them in. Your items need to be in the original packaging and be accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds:
Once we receive your items, we will inspect them and notify you that we have received your returned items. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

I wanted a bag that would go with all the clothes I had, because I hated changing bags. A bag I could use whether I was just out and about doing mundane errands in my sweats or going out to dinner in a nice restaurant. So I used red to go with my black, gray and white clothes, which was 90% of my wardrobe and still is. Cross-body bag could keep my hands free and would be convenient for day to day stuff while shoulder bag would be nice for fancy occasions. But, why pay for two bags if I could have one bag that did two things? So, with a little engineering, I designed this bag to be both cross-body and shoulder bag for whenever I dressed up or dressed down!
My daughter actually came up with the name for the bag. She was 9 at the time. She thought the front closing flap looked like the nose of an elephant. As much as I loved her, I couldn’t bring myself to call this striking bag the Elephant Bag! So I told her we would call it the “Elle” bag, short for elephant but had extra letters to make it looked more balanced…
Like all my bags, this bag is sewn by hand, a stitch at a time. It is super time consuming. People thought I was crazy. But the end result is a unique and beautiful product that is strong and will not fall apart, just like what St. Catherine of Siena had said, “Nothing great is ever achieved without much enduring.” So I present this bag with pride.
